“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Mary Oliver
I read this quote in a gratitude journal, and it sent me to a wonderfully reflective place. I love the reminder not only that life is precious, but also that it is wild. So often we forget we are more than a mind, we forget that we are embodied, we sense, we feel. We share so much with other forms of life, far, far more than there is that separates us. The wildness evokes for me remote landscapes, hills, rivers, the wind in my face, the solitude that teams with life and vitality.
So what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? How will you make it a life well lived? How will you let the wild flow through you? How will you honour the precious nature of what you are?
